Indications

Dynastat (parecoxib) is indicated for the treatment of acute pain in adults, including postoperative pain and pain associated with surgical procedures. This medication is a selective COX-2 inhibitor, making it effective for reducing inflammation and relieving pain. Additionally, it can be used in cases of oncological pain and for the treatment of arthritis, as per medical evaluation. Administration should be under medical supervision and in the appropriate context, considering the recommended duration and dosage for each patient.

Composition

Each ampoule of Dynastat 40 mg contains: Parecoxib (as sodium) 40 mg. Excipients: sodium chloride, hydrochloric acid, and water for injection.

Contraindications

Dynastat is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those who have experienced severe adverse reactions to other NSAIDs. It is also contraindicated in patients with active peptic ulcer, a history of gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, hepatic insufficiency, and gastrointestinal diseases. Regular monitoring during treatment is recommended, especially in patients over 65 years of age or those with multiple health conditions. Prolonged administration of parecoxib should be evaluated and justified by the treating physician.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.
