Indications
Dutina (Mometasone) is indicated for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children over 2 years of age. It is also used for the treatment of nasal polyps in adults. Mometasone is a corticosteroid that works by reducing inflammation, thereby alleviating symptoms such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and itching. It is important to follow your doctor's instructions for proper and effective use of the medication.
Composition
Each milliliter of suspension contains: Mometasone (as mometasone furoate) 0.5 mg, excipients q.s. for 1 ml.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mometasone or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in untreated infections of the nasal mucosa and in cases of active or latent tuberculosis.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with systemic infections, as prolonged use of corticosteroids may increase the risk of infections. Likewise, care should be taken in patients with a history of glaucoma or cataracts. It is important to have medical follow-up if adverse effects occur.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the product in its original packaging, tightly closed and out of the reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
