Indications

Dustalox Oft Drops is indicated for the treatment of ocular pain and inflammation, especially in post-surgical conditions, as well as for the reduction of pain and inflammation associated with eye injuries. It is useful in the management of acute postoperative pain after ocular surgery and in the reduction of inflammation in various ocular conditions, such as allergic conjunctivitis and other forms of ocular inflammation. Its analgesic and anti-inflammatory action is due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, which helps control pain and inflammation at the application site.

Composition

Each ml of Dustalox Oft Drops contains 5 mg of Ketorolac Tromethamine, in addition to the necessary excipients for the formulation.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ketorolac tromethamine or to any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with a history of active peptic ulcer or gastrointestinal bleeding, as well as in those with severe alterations in renal function. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation without adequate medical supervision.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with asthma, cardiovascular diseases, or in those receiving concomitant treatments with anticoagulants. Prolonged use of the product should be avoided, and medical follow-up is suggested if symptoms persist or worsen. Additionally, it is important to avoid contact of the dropper with the eyes or any surface to prevent contamination of the product.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
