Indications
Dubila is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication acts as a selective beta-1 adrenergic receptor antagonist and has vasodilating properties. It is used to improve blood pressure control and reduce the risk of cardiovascular events in hypertensive patients. Additionally, it may be useful in the treatment of mild to moderate heart failure in combination with other drugs. Its use must be evaluated by a physician, who will determine the suitability of the treatment and the necessary dose according to the patient's clinical condition.
Composition
Each Dubila tablet contains 5 mg of nebivolol as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients such as lactose, starch, and other agents that facilitate the formulation of the medicine.
Contraindications
Dubila is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to nebivolol or any component of the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of severe bradycardia, second or third-degree atrioventricular block without a pacemaker, decompensated heart failure, and in patients with bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of heart disease, diabetes mellitus, or those requiring scheduled surgery. Blood pressure and heart rate should be monitored regularly. Likewise, it is suggested to evaluate liver and kidney function before initiating treatment.
Storage
Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
