Indications
Dosier is indicated for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders, including dyspepsia and irritable bowel syndrome. It is used to relieve symptoms such as feelings of fullness, abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting. It may also be useful in situations where improved gastric emptying is required, as well as in cases of gastroesophageal reflux. Mosapride acts as a prokinetic, improving gastrointestinal motility and facilitating intestinal transit.
Composition
Each tablet contains 5 mg of mosapride as the active ingredient. Excipients: Lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
Dosier is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to mosapride or any of the excipients in the formulation. It is not recommended in patients with mechanical intestinal obstruction, gastrointestinal hemorrhage, or perforation. Its use should be avoided in those with a history of heart disease, as well as in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Dosier to patients with liver or kidney diseases. Close monitoring is recommended in elderly patients or those taking other medications that may interact with mosapride. If any adverse effects occur, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep out of reach of children.
