Indications

Doscoxel is indicated for the treatment of acute pain, including postoperative pain and pain associated with musculoskeletal injuries. It is also used for the management of rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action provides effective relief in painful conditions, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from these diseases. Additionally, it can be used in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, helping to reduce menstrual pain in women.

Composition

Each Doscoxel tablet contains 120 mg of etoricoxib as the active ingredient. Excipients: microcrystalline cellulose, starch, lactose, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide.

Contraindications

Doscoxel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to etoricoxib or any component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of severe adverse reactions to other NSAIDs, active peptic ulcer, severe heart failure, severe liver disease, and during the third trimester of pregnancy.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, arterial hypertension, renal or hepatic insufficiency. Prolonged use of etoricoxib may be associated with an increased risk of thrombotic events. Monitoring of renal and hepatic function is recommended in patients requiring long-term treatment. Avoid administration in combination with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants without medical supervision.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
