Indications
Dorsal is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain. The combination of Meloxicam, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), and Carisoprodol, a muscle relaxant, allows for the management of pain associated with musculoskeletal conditions. It is effective in treating conditions such as low back pain, muscle contractures, and other painful conditions that require a combined approach for pain and inflammation control. Dorsal can be used as part of a comprehensive therapeutic regimen that includes rest, physical therapy, and other non-pharmacological treatments.
Composition
Each Dorsal tablet contains:
- Meloxicam: 15 mg
- Carisoprodol: 200 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of its components, as well as in those with active peptic ulcer, severe kidney or liver disease, and in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use is not recommended during pregnancy and lactation, unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, hypertension, and those who regularly consume alcohol, as the use of NSAIDs may increase the risk of gastrointestinal complications. It is important to monitor kidney and liver function during treatment and avoid prolonged use without medical evaluation.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
