Indications
Dorixina is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain of various etiologies. It is useful in the management of pain associated with inflammatory processes, such as arthritis, bursitis, tendinitis, and lumbago. It is also used to relieve postoperative pain and pain associated with dental procedures. Its anti-inflammatory and analgesic action makes it an option for the treatment of moderate to severe pain, where effective pain control is required.
Composition
Each Dorixina tablet contains 250 mg of lysine clonixinate as the active ingredient. Additionally, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation and administration, which are as follows: starch, talc, and other inert excipients.
Contraindications
Dorixina is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to lysine clonixinate or any component of the formula. It should not be used in patients with active gastric or duodenal ulcers, severe renal insufficiency, or in those with hemorrhagic disorders or severe heart diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with gastrointestinal diseases, a history of kidney disease, or in those who are being treated with anticoagulants. During treatment, it is recommended to monitor renal function and the appearance of adverse effects. Its use during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, is not recommended without proper medical supervision.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.
