Indications
Donodol Compuesto is indicated for the treatment of painful conditions of inflammatory origin, such as: postoperative pain, pain associated with musculoskeletal disorders, renal and biliary colic, as well as dysmenorrhea. It is also used in the management of symptoms associated with gastrointestinal spasms, due to the presence of Hyoscine, which acts as an antispasmodic, helping to relieve abdominal discomfort. Its combined formulation allows for effective analgesic and antispasmodic action, providing relief in various clinical situations that require attention.
Composition
Each Donodol Compuesto tablet contains: 250 mg of Clonixinate Lysine and 10 mg of Hyoscine.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those suffering from active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, or severe renal insufficiency. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma or myasthenia gravis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those with kidney or liver problems. Prolonged use of this medication should be supervised by a physician, and it is important to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment. Regular monitoring of renal function is recommended in patients requiring prolonged treatments.
