Indications
Dolo Tiaminal is indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to B-complex vitamin deficiencies and pain management. It is frequently used in cases of neuropathies, such as diabetic neuropathy, and other neurological disorders where vitamin support is required. In addition, its formulation with Metamizole makes it useful in the treatment of acute and chronic pain, as well as in cases of fever that do not respond to other antipyretics. This product is especially relevant in patients with impaired nutrient absorption due to gastrointestinal conditions or who are undergoing treatments that may decrease the levels of these vitamins. It is also used as an adjuvant in therapies for the management of fatigue and general malaise.
Composition
Each Dolo Tiaminal capsule contains:
- Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) 100 mg
- Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) 50 mg
- Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 500 mcg
- Metamizole 250 mg
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, as well as in those with a history of agranulocytosis or severe allergic reactions to pyrazole derivatives. It should also be avoided in patients with hematological diseases or severe kidney problems.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of liver disease, as well as in those who are receiving other medications that may interact with Metamizole. It is important to consider prior medical evaluation during pregnancy and lactation. It should not be administered in cases of severe renal insufficiency.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. Storage temperature should not exceed 30 °C.
