Indications
Dolo-Neurobion is indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic pain of inflammatory and non-inflammatory origin, as well as for the management of various types of pain, including muscle pain, joint pain, and postoperative pain. Its combination of diclofenac, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), with B complex, which includes several B vitamins, provides a synergistic effect that helps in reducing pain and inflammation, in addition to contributing to cellular metabolism and maintaining neuromuscular health. Its use is recommended in cases of lower back pain, sciatica, and neuralgias, as well as in the treatment of rheumatic and musculoskeletal conditions. It is also used in the management of pain associated with sports injuries and in postsurgical processes.
Composition
Each Dolo-Neurobion tablet contains:
- Diclofenac sodium 500 mg
- B complex (50 mg thiamine, 50 mg riboflavin, 1 mg pyridoxine)
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to diclofenac or any of the components of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of active peptic ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal failure, or severe liver disease. Likewise, its use is contraindicated in the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, as well as in those with a history of asthma, high blood pressure, heart failure, or kidney diseases. Regular monitoring is recommended for patients on prolonged treatment to avoid possible adverse effects. The use of Dolo-Neurobion should be evaluated in case of co-administration with other medications that may increase the risk of adverse effects.
