Indications
DOLAC is indicated for the treatment of acute moderate to severe pain, including postoperative pain, pain associated with injuries, and pain from menstrual cramps. It is also used in the management of pain in inflammatory conditions. Its analgesic and anti-inflammatory action is due to the inhibition of prostaglandin synthesis, providing effective relief in various painful conditions.
Composition
Each DOLAC tablet contains 10 mg of Ketorolac tromethamine, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to ketorolac or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with active gastric ulcer, gastrointestinal bleeding, severe renal insufficiency, or those who have received treatment with other NSAIDs or anticoagulants that may increase the risk of bleeding.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of kidney disease, liver disease, or those who present risk factors for bleeding. Prolonged use of the medication should be avoided, as well as its combination with other NSAIDs. Before starting treatment, a careful evaluation of the patient should be carried out and the risk-benefit ratio considered.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
