Indications
Dirnelid-Az Suspension is indicated for the treatment of nasal symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, such as nasal congestion, sneezing, and rhinorrhea. The combination of mometasone, a corticosteroid, and azelastine, an antihistamine, acts synergistically to relieve inflammation and the allergic response in the upper airways. This medication is especially useful for patients experiencing severe symptoms or who have not responded adequately to other treatments. It can also be used for the prophylaxis of allergic rhinitis symptoms in situations where exposure to allergens is anticipated.
Composition
Each 1 ml of suspension contains: 50 mcg of mometasone furoate and 140 mcg of azelastine hydrochloride.
Contraindications
Dirnelid-Az Suspension is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in untreated upper respiratory tract infections and in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with respiratory infections, nasal ulcers, or a history of glaucoma. Medical monitoring is recommended in case of prolonged use. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of infection symptoms, a doctor should be consulted immediately.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Keep in a dry place and protected from direct light. Do not freeze. Keep out of reach of children.
