Indications
Diprosone Ointment is indicated for the treatment of various dermatological conditions that require the application of corticosteroids. It is used to relieve symptoms associated with diseases such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, psoriasis, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions. The anti-inflammatory and antipruritic action of betamethasone helps reduce inflammation, redness, and itching of the skin. It is recommended to apply a thin layer to the affected area once or twice a day, as directed by the treating physician.
Composition
Each 100 g of Diprosone Ointment contains: Betamethasone dipropionate 0.05 g. Excipients: white petrolatum, lanolin, and others.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to betamethasone or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be applied to infected skin lesions, or to areas where ulcers or abscesses exist. It is contraindicated in the treatment of rosacea, acne vulgaris, and perioral dermatitis.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Diprosone on extensive areas of the skin, as well as with prolonged use, as it may increase the risk of systemic adverse effects. In patients with infectious diseases, the use of corticosteroids should be carefully evaluated. It is recommended to monitor the patient's response to treatment and adjust therapy as needed.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep the product in its original packaging, tightly closed and out of reach of children.
