Indications
Dimacol Infantil Triple Acción is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with colds and flu in children, such as fever, cough, and nasal congestion. This medicine combines the analgesic and antipyretic action of paracetamol, the antitussive effect of dextromethorphan, and the antihistamine action of chlorphenamine. Its use is recommended for children over 2 years of age for the treatment of fever and general discomfort, as well as for the management of dry cough and allergy symptoms.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Dimacol Infantil Triple Acción contains: 160 mg of paracetamol, 1.5 mg of dextromethorphan, and 1.5 mg of chlorphenamine.
Contraindications
This medicine is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula, in those with severe liver diseases, and in children under 2 years of age. It should not be used in cases of cough caused by asthma or emphysema.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver disease, respiratory problems, or those who consume alcohol, due to the risk of hepatotoxicity. It is important to avoid self-medication and consult a doctor with any questions about the use of this medicine.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
