Indications
Dilostop 2Mg is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of uncomplicated acute diarrhea in adults and children over 12 years of age. Loperamide works by reducing intestinal motility, which allows for greater absorption of fluids and electrolytes, helping to decrease the frequency and urgency of bowel movements. It is also used as maintenance treatment in patients with ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, always under appropriate medical supervision.
Composition
Each Dilostop tablet contains 2 mg of Loperamide as an active ingredient, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Dilostop is contraindicated in patients with bacterial diarrhea, pseudomembranous colitis, intestinal bleeding, and those with known hypersensitivity to loperamide or any component of the formula. It should not be administered in cases of high fever or blood in the stools.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with liver disease, as it may increase the drug concentration. This medication is not recommended for children under 12 years of age. If no improvement is observed within 48 hours, a doctor should be consulted. It is also important to evaluate patients with a history of chronic constipation.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children.
