Indications
Diflucan (fluconazole) is indicated for the treatment of fungal infections caused by susceptible fungi. It is particularly effective in the treatment of vaginal candidiasis, oropharyngeal candidiasis, and systemic candidiasis. It is also used in the prophylaxis of fungal infections in immunocompromised patients, as well as in the treatment of cryptococcal meningitis in patients with HIV/AIDS. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a physician, who can determine the specific indication and duration of treatment according to the patient's characteristics.
Composition
Each capsule contains 150 mg of fluconazole as the active ingredient. Excipients are: corn starch, gelatin, coloring agent, and other inactive components that allow for the formulation of the medication.
Contraindications
Diflucan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to fluconazole or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use in combination with certain medications that can cause serious interactions should also be avoided. Its use is not recommended in pregnant women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hepatic or renal insufficiency, as well as in those with a history of heart disease, as it may prolong the QT interval. It is essential for the physician to perform a complete evaluation before initiating treatment.

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Keep in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
