Indications

Dicetel is indicated for the treatment of functional gastrointestinal disorders, specifically in the management of symptoms related to irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) and other gastrointestinal disorders characterized by spasms and abdominal pain. Its antispasmodic action helps to reduce intestinal motility and associated pain, improving the quality of life of patients suffering from these conditions. This medication is particularly useful in situations where colicky abdominal pain episodes occur, associated with alterations in intestinal function.

Composition

Each Dicetel tablet contains: Pinaverium Bromide 100 mg as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.

Contraindications

Dicetel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide or to any of the formulation components. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of intestinal obstruction or conditions that may increase the risk of urinary retention.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, as well as in those receiving treatment with other anticholinergic drugs. It is important to perform adequate medical follow-up if adverse effects occur. Use during pregnancy and lactation is not recommended without medical supervision.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
