Indications
Dicetel is indicated for the treatment of symptoms associated with functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, especially in cases of irritable bowel syndrome. This medication acts as an antispasmodic, relieving tension and pain in the intestinal wall. It is useful for the management of abdominal cramps and other disorders related to intestinal motility. Its use is recommended in patients who present symptoms such as abdominal pain, distension, and changes in bowel habits.
Composition
Each Dicetel tablet contains 100 mg of pinaverium bromide, as well as excipients necessary for its formulation.
Contraindications
Dicetel is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to pinaverium bromide or to any of the components of the formula. Its use is not recommended in people who present with intestinal obstruction, megacolon, or severe liver or kidney diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Dicetel in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases. Likewise, it is recommended to evaluate renal and hepatic function before starting treatment. During the use of this medication, possible adverse reactions should be observed, and its use should be discontinued if unusual symptoms appear.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of the reach of children.
