Indications
Diane 2Mg/0.035Mg is indicated for hormonal contraception in women of childbearing age. It is also used in the treatment of menstrual disorders, such as polycystic ovary syndrome, as well as in the treatment of moderate acne in women who also require an oral contraceptive. The combination of cyproterone and ethinylestradiol helps regulate the menstrual cycle and reduce androgen production, which can be beneficial in cases of hirsutism and acne.
Composition
Each Diane tablet contains 2 mg of cyproterone and 0.035 mg of ethinylestradiol as active ingredients, as well as excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.
Contraindications
Diane should not be used in women with a history of venous or arterial thrombosis, cardiovascular diseases, breast cancer or hormone-dependent organ cancers, severe alterations of liver function, and in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. In addition, it is contraindicated during pregnancy and lactation.
Precautions
Precautions should be taken in women who smoke and are over 35 years old, as well as in those with a family history of thrombosis. It is important to perform regular medical check-ups and follow the doctor's instructions regarding the use of Diane. The possibility of interactions with other medications should also be considered.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from light and out of reach of children. The storage temperature should not exceed 25°C.
