Indications
Dexafrin Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic conditions of the eye, including but not limited to: allergic conjunctivitis, non-bacterial conjunctivitis, and other conditions requiring local anti-inflammatory treatment. It can also be used in post-surgical processes to reduce ocular inflammation and pain. It is important that the use of this medication be supervised by a healthcare professional, who will evaluate the need and duration of treatment according to the specific conditions of the patient.
Composition
Each ml of Dexafrin Ofteno contains Dexamethasone 1 mg, as well as excipients necessary for the formulation of the product. It is recommended to consult the leaflet for more details on the specific components.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to dexamethasone or to any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in untreated viral, fungal, or bacterial eye infections, as it may worsen the patient's condition. Caution should also be exercised in patients with ocular herpes simplex, as it may be harmful.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with cardiovascular diseases, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, eye infections, and in those undergoing immunosuppressive treatment. It is essential that the patient informs their doctor about any other medications they are using, as well as their pre-existing health conditions.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep the bottle tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
