Indications

Desenfriol D is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of signs and symptoms associated with colds and allergic rhinitis, including nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose. Additionally, it is effective in relieving discomfort and fever that may accompany these conditions, thanks to the combined action of its components: chlorphenamine acts as an antihistamine, phenylephrine acts as a decongestant, and paracetamol provides pain relief and reduces fever.

Composition

Each tablet of Desenfriol D contains: 2 mg of Chlorphenamine, 5 mg of Phenylephrine, and 500 mg of Paracetamol.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components, in those with severe cardiovascular diseases, uncontrolled hypertension, narrow-angle glaucoma, and in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs).

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of liver or kidney disease, as well as in those with prostate problems or urinary retention. Its use in combination with other products containing paracetamol is not recommended to avoid overdose. It is advised not to exceed the recommended dose and to consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 3 days.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
