Indications

Debrexst is indicated for the treatment and prevention of asthma symptoms in adults and children from 6 months of age. It is also used for the treatment of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis in adults and children from 2 years of age. The medication acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist, which helps reduce inflammation and improve breathing in patients with respiratory diseases.

Specifically, Debrexst is used in the prevention of nocturnal asthma symptoms and in reducing the need for other medications, such as short-acting bronchodilators. It is also useful in reducing the frequency and severity of asthma attacks.

Composition

Each Debrexst tablet contains 10 mg of Montelukast, as well as excipients necessary for the product's formulation.

Contraindications

Debrexst is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Montelukast or any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in cases of severe liver disease.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when administering Debrexst to patients with liver disorders or those who are receiving concomitant treatments that may affect the drug's metabolism. Additionally, in patients with severe asthma, the possibility of more intensive disease management should be considered.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
