Indications
Dafloxen F is indicated for the symptomatic treatment of painful and inflammatory processes, including headache, myalgia, arthralgia, postoperative pain, and pain associated with inflammatory conditions. Its combination of naproxen, a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, and paracetamol, an analgesic and antipyretic, provides a synergistic effect in pain relief and inflammation reduction. This medication is useful in the management of acute and chronic pain, as well as in the treatment of fever in various clinical conditions.
Composition
Each 5 ml of Dafloxen F Suspension contains: 125 mg of Naproxen and 100 mg of Paracetamol. Excipients: Sorbitol, Glycerin, Citric Acid, Flavorings, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formulation. It should not be administered in cases of active peptic ulcer, severe renal insufficiency, severe hepatic insufficiency, as well as in patients with a history of gastrointestinal bleeding. Its use should be avoided during the third trimester of pregnancy.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Dafloxen F to patients with a history of gastrointestinal diseases, hypertension, heart failure, or in patients who consume excessive alcohol. Monitoring of renal and hepatic function is recommended during prolonged treatment. It should not be combined with other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs without medical supervision.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
