Indications
Dactil Ob 100 mg is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders such as dyspepsia, irritable bowel syndrome, and in the reduction of muscle spasms of the gastrointestinal tract. It is also used in the preparation of patients for endoscopic and surgical procedures where a reduction of gastrointestinal tone and muscle relaxation is required. Its antispasmodic action helps relieve abdominal pain associated with these conditions. Additionally, it may be indicated in patients experiencing nausea and vomiting of gastrointestinal origin.
Composition
Each Dactil Ob tablet contains 100 mg of Piperidolate as the active ingredient. Excipients: corn starch, talc, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Piperidolate or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with closed-angle glaucoma, prostatic hypertrophy, myasthenia gravis, and in those with intestinal or urinary obstruction. Furthermore, it should not be administered to pregnant or breastfeeding women without corresponding medical evaluation.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart or respiratory diseases. It is advisable to evaluate renal and liver function before starting treatment. Alcohol consumption should be avoided during treatment, as well as driving vehicles or operating heavy machinery, as it may cause drowsiness.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place and away from light. Keep out of reach of children.
