Indications
Cymbalta (Duloxetine) is indicated for the treatment of major depression in adults, as well as for the management of generalized anxiety disorder. It is also used in the treatment of diabetic neuropathic pain and in the management of chronic pain associated with fibromyalgia. Its mechanism of action is based on the inhibition of serotonin and norepinephrine reuptake, which contributes to improving mood and reducing the sensation of pain.
Composition
Each Cymbalta capsule contains 60 mg of duloxetine as the active ingredient. In addition, it contains excipients that facilitate its formulation.
Contraindications
Cymbalta is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to duloxetine or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be administered to patients receiving treatment with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) or to those with a history of severe liver disorders or severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended in patients with a history of mania or hypomania, as well as in those with cardiovascular problems. Duloxetine can increase blood pressure, so it should be monitored in patients with hypertension. During treatment, possible symptoms of serotonin syndrome should be observed, especially if combined with other medications that affect serotonin.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
