Indications
Coriatros is indicated for the treatment of arterial hypertension in adults. Reducing blood pressure can help prevent cardiovascular complications such as heart attacks and strokes. In addition, it is used in the treatment of chronic heart failure, as it helps improve heart function and reduce morbidity associated with this condition. It is important that the use of this medication is under strict medical supervision, adjusting the dose according to the patient's clinical response.
Composition
Each tablet contains 16 mg of Candesartan Cilexetil as the active ingredient. Excipients: lactose, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, magnesium stearate, among others.
Contraindications
It should not be used in patients with known hypersensitivity to Candesartan Cilexetil or any of the excipients. It is contraindicated in patients with a history of angioedema related to previous treatments with angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEIs) or angiotensin II receptor blockers. It is also contraindicated in pregnant women and during breastfeeding.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with renal impairment, hepatic impairment, renal artery stenosis, and in those with a history of angioedema. This medication should be used with caution in patients being treated with diuretics, as they may increase the risk of hypotension. Monitoring of renal function and electrolytes is recommended during treatment.

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children.
