Indications
Coretel-N (Nebivolol) is indicated for the treatment of essential hypertension in adults. This medication acts as a selective beta-blocker, which means it blocks the action of certain chemicals in the body that can cause an increase in blood pressure. Additionally, it can be used in the management of stable chronic heart failure in combination with other treatments. It is important that the use of this medication is supervised by a doctor, who will evaluate the patient's response to the treatment and make dose adjustments if necessary.
Composition
Each Coretel-N tablet contains 5 mg of Nebivolol as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and others.
Contraindications
Coretel-N is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Nebivolol or any of the components of the formula. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe bradycardia, second or third-degree AV block, decompensated heart failure, bronchial asthma or severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, as well as in patients undergoing general anesthesia. It should not be used in combination with certain antihypertensive medications without proper medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of heart disease, diabetes mellitus, liver or kidney disorders. During treatment, regular monitoring of blood pressure and heart rate is recommended. The use of Coretel-N may cause adverse effects such as dizziness or fatigue, which may affect the ability to drive vehicles or operate machinery.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place and away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
