Indications
Coramantine Cream 0.1% is a medication indicated for the treatment of various inflammatory and allergic skin conditions, such as atopic dermatitis, seborrheic dermatitis, and psoriasis. Its anti-inflammatory action helps reduce redness, itching, and inflammation in the skin. Hydrocortisone butyrate is a low-potency corticosteroid that acts locally, providing symptomatic relief in conditions where reduction of inflammation and control of itching are required. It is important to follow medical instructions regarding its use and duration of treatment.
Composition
Each 100 g of Coramantine Cream contains 0.1 g of hydrocortisone butyrate, as well as excipients q.s. 100 g.
Contraindications
It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to hydrocortisone butyrate or to any component of the formulation. It should not be applied to areas of active skin infection, cutaneous tuberculosis, or in cases of herpes simplex, chickenpox, or viral lesions. Its use on the face, around the eyes, or in sensitive areas without medical supervision is not recommended.
Precautions
It should be used with caution in patients with a history of skin infections, as prolonged use of corticosteroids may increase the risk of infections. Contact with eyes and mucous membranes should also be avoided. If no improvement in symptoms is observed after an adequate period of treatment, a doctor should be consulted to reevaluate the situation. Prolonged use or use on large areas of the skin is not recommended.
