Indications
Conazol Solution is indicated for the treatment of superficial and systemic fungal infections. It is effective in the treatment of tinea, candidiasis, and other infections caused by fungi susceptible to ketoconazole. It is also used in the treatment of seborrheic dermatitis and pityriasis versicolor. Its use is recommended under medical supervision, considering the severity of the infection and the patient's response to treatment.
Composition
Each 100 ml of Conazol Solution contains 2 g of ketoconazole as an active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the formulation and stability of the product.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to ketoconazole or to any of the excipients in the formula. It should also be avoided in patients with severe liver disease, as ketoconazole can affect liver function. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women without adequate medical supervision.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Conazol to patients with a history of liver disease, as hepatotoxicity associated with ketoconazole use has been reported. It is also important to evaluate interactions with other medications the patient is taking. Regular medical follow-up is recommended during treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.
