Indications
Comenter (Mirtazapine) is indicated for the treatment of major depression in adults. It is also used in some cases to treat anxiety disorders and sleep disorders, due to its sedative properties. Mirtazapine acts on certain neurotransmitters in the brain, such as serotonin and norepinephrine, which helps to improve mood and relieve anxiety symptoms. It is important that the use of this medication is under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will evaluate the need for treatment and the appropriate dose for each patient.
Composition
Each Comenter tablet contains 30 mg of Mirtazapine as the active ingredient. Excipients are: lactose monohydrate, corn starch, talc, and magnesium stearate.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Mirtazapine or to any of the excipients in the formulation. Its use is not recommended in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) and in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of seizure disorders, liver or kidney disease, and in those at risk of suicide. During treatment, it is recommended to monitor mood and the appearance of suicidal thoughts, especially at the beginning of treatment or when making changes in dosage.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C, in a dry place and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
