Indications
Comenter (Mirtazapine) is indicated for the treatment of major depressive disorders in adults. Its use is particularly effective in patients who present symptoms of insomnia, loss of appetite, and increased anxiety, as mirtazapine acts as a modulator of neurotransmitters in the brain, helping to restore the chemical balance that may be altered in mood disorders. In addition, Comenter can be used in the treatment of generalized anxiety disorders and post-traumatic stress disorders, under the supervision of a physician. It is essential that treatment with Comenter be supervised by a healthcare professional, who must continuously evaluate the patient's response to the medication and adjust the dose if necessary.
Composition
Each Comenter tablet contains 15 mg of Mirtazapine as the active ingredient. Inactive ingredients: Lactose, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to mirtazapine or any of the formula's components. Its use in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) is not recommended, as this combination can cause severe adverse reactions. Furthermore, it should not be administered to patients with severe liver or kidney diseases.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Comenter to patients with a history of seizures, manic disorders, or suicide. Likewise, it is important to monitor patients for the possibility of suicidal thoughts, especially at the beginning of treatment or when adjusting doses. It is recommended to avoid alcohol consumption during treatment, as it may increase the sedative effects of the medication.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
