Indications
Combesteral is indicated as a complementary treatment in conditions requiring the administration of B complex vitamins, as well as in the management of acute or chronic pain. It is used in pathologies such as neuropathies, inflammations, and in processes requiring the administration of steroidal anti-inflammatories, due to the presence of dexamethasone. Additionally, lidocaine acts as a local anesthetic, helping to reduce pain during medical procedures.
Composition
Each Combesteral ampoule contains:
- B Complex Vitamins: B1 (thiamine), B6 (pyridoxine), B12 (cobalamin).
- Lidocaine.
- Dexamethasone.
Contraindications
Combesteral is not recommended for use in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the formula's components, as well as in those with uncontrolled viral, fungal, or bacterial infections. It is also contraindicated in patients with a history of severe allergic reactions to local anesthetics.
Precautions
Special care should be taken in patients with a history of cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, and liver or kidney problems. It is important to evaluate the risk-benefit ratio in patients with active infections or those undergoing anticoagulant treatment.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
