Indications

17.7% sodium chloride is indicated for rehydration and correction of electrolyte balance in situations of severe dehydration, hyponatremia, and as a vehicle for the administration of other medications. Its use is common in patients requiring intravenous support, in cases of trauma, surgery, or in clinical conditions where there is significant fluid and electrolyte loss. This medication can also be used to dilute medications administered intravenously.

Composition

Each ampule contains 17.7% sodium chloride in sterile solution. The exact composition and amount of sodium chloride may vary depending on the specific formulation, so it is recommended to check the product labeling.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to sodium chloride or to any of the excipients present in the formulation. It should not be used in cases of pulmonary edema, renal failure, or when sodium restriction is required.

  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
