Cloranfeni Ungena Ung 5Mg/G 5G is a broad-spectrum antibiotic indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections of the skin and soft tissues, as well as ocular infections. Its use is specifically indicated for the treatment of infections caused by microorganisms susceptible to chloramphenicol, including infections by Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pneumoniae, and Haemophilus influenzae.
This medication is commonly used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and other ocular infections. Additionally, it can be used in the management of infected wounds and burns, where the prevention of infectious complications is crucial.
Composition
Each 100 g of ointment contains: 5 g of chloramphenicol and excipients q.s.p. 100 g.
Contraindications
Cloranfeni Ungena Ung 5Mg/G 5G is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or any of the product's excipients. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of aplastic anemia or in those who have experienced serious adverse reactions to this medication.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with hematological diseases and in those receiving treatments that may affect bone marrow. Prolonged use without adequate medical supervision is not recommended. Also, contact with the eyes should be avoided, unless specifically indicated for the treatment of ocular infections.

Store at room temperature, in a dry and cool place, protected from light. Keep out of reach of children.
