Indications
Cloramfeni Ofteno is indicated for the treatment of eye infections caused by bacteria susceptible to chloramphenicol. It is used in conditions such as bacterial conjunctivitis, blepharitis, and other eye infections. This medication works by inhibiting protein synthesis in bacteria, leading to the cessation of their growth and reproduction. It is important that the use of this medication be under medical prescription and adequate supervision, thus ensuring a correct evaluation of the patient's condition and the selection of the most appropriate treatment.
Composition
Each ml of Cloramfeni Ofteno contains 5 mg of chloramphenicol. In addition, it contains excipients that allow for the proper formulation of the product for ophthalmic use.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to chloramphenicol or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be used in cases of viral or fungal eye infections, nor in patients with a history of bone marrow disease or aplastic anemia.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Cloramfeni Ofteno in patients with hematological diseases. This includes monitoring blood counts during prolonged treatments. Simultaneous use with other eye drops or ophthalmic solutions should also be avoided unless indicated by a healthcare professional. It is essential not to touch the tip of the dropper to avoid contamination.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 25 °C. Keep the container tightly closed and out of reach of children. Do not use the product after the expiration date indicated on the package.

Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
