Indications
Cloisone is indicated for the treatment of symptoms of Parkinson's disease and Parkinsonian syndrome, including rigidity, tremor, and bradykinesia. This medication works by increasing dopamine levels in the brain, which helps improve motor control and the quality of life for patients. It is essential that the use of Cloisone is supervised by a healthcare professional, who will determine the dose and duration of treatment according to the individual needs of the patient.
Composition
Each tablet contains 250 mg of Levodopa and 25 mg of Carbidopa.
Contraindications
Cloisone is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of its components. It should not be administered to patients with closed-angle glaucoma or severe liver disease. Likewise, its use in combination with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) is not recommended.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, respiratory problems, or psychiatric disorders. Continuous medical monitoring during treatment is recommended, especially at the start of therapy and when adjusting the dose. It is suggested to monitor the patient's renal and hepatic function, as well as blood pressure.
