Indications
Clexane (enoxaparin) is indicated for the treatment and prevention of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE) in surgical and medical patients. It is also used in the prevention of thromboembolic complications in patients with acute illnesses, and in the management of patients with non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction, as well as in the treatment of patients with unstable angina. It is important that Clexane be used under the supervision of a physician to determine the dose and duration of treatment, adapting to the patient's needs and specific clinical conditions.
Composition
Each Clexane syringe contains enoxaparin sodium, which acts as a low molecular weight anticoagulant, derived from heparin. In addition, the formulation includes excipients that facilitate its administration and stability.
Contraindications
Clexane is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to enoxaparin, heparin, or any of the excipients. It should not be used in patients with active bleeding, severe bleeding disorders, or in those who have recently suffered a hemorrhagic stroke. It is also contraindicated in patients with severe renal insufficiency.
Precautions
Special care should be taken when administering Clexane to patients with a history of peptic ulcer, uncontrolled hypertension, or those undergoing invasive procedures. It is important to adequately monitor for signs of bleeding and adjust the dose according to the patient's characteristics. Renal function tests are recommended before starting treatment and during its administration.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C. Protect from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.
