Indications
Clendix is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections susceptible to clindamycin. This medication is effective in the management of skin and soft tissue infections, as well as intra-abdominal and respiratory infections, where the susceptibility of microorganisms has been demonstrated. It is also used in the treatment of gynecological infections and osteomyelitis. Its use is suggested in patients who have allergies to beta-lactam antibiotics, as clindamycin can be an effective alternative in these cases. It is important that the use of Clendix is carried out under the supervision of a healthcare professional, who will determine the duration and frequency of treatment according to the severity of the infection and the patient's clinical response.
Composition
Each Clendix capsule contains 300 mg of clindamycin (as hydrochloride). Excipients: gelatin, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, among others.
Contraindications
Clendix is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to clindamycin or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with a history of ulcerative colitis or antibiotic-associated colitis, as it may aggravate these conditions.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when administering Clendix to patients with gastrointestinal disorders, especially those with a history of colitis. It is also recommended to monitor liver and kidney function, as well as to be alert for signs of adverse reactions. In case of severe or persistent diarrhea, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor should be consulted immediately.

Store at room temperature, between 15°C and 30°C, protected from light and humidity. Keep out of reach of children.
