Indications
Clarityne is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, including sneezing, rhinorrhea, nasal and ocular itching, as well as nasal congestion. It is also indicated for the treatment of chronic idiopathic urticaria and other allergic skin manifestations. Its effect can last up to 24 hours, allowing for a single daily use, facilitating the management of allergic symptoms during the day.
Composition
Each Clarityne tablet contains 10 mg of loratadine as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients necessary for the product's formulation.
Contraindications
Clarityne is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to loratadine or any of the excipients in the formula. Caution should also be exercised in patients with severe hepatic insufficiency.
Precautions
Caution is recommended when administering Clarityne to patients with renal insufficiency and to those taking other medications that may affect the metabolism of loratadine. It is important to avoid the use of this medication in combination with alcohol and other central nervous system depressants, as it may potentiate their sedative effects.
Storage
Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place away from direct light. Keep out of reach of children.
