Indications

Ciproxin (Ciprofloxacin) is indicated for the treatment of various bacterial infections. It is effective in the treatment of urinary tract infections, respiratory infections, skin and soft tissue infections, as well as gastrointestinal infections. It is also used for infection prophylaxis in immunocompromised patients and for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria resistant to other antibiotics. It is important that the use of Ciproxin is based on the sensitivity of the microorganism causing the infection and that it complies with the specific indications of the treating physician.

Composition

Each Ciproxin tablet contains 500 mg of Ciprofloxacin as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and presentation.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to ciprofloxacin or any other component of the formula. It should not be administered to patients with a history of tendinitis or tendon rupture related to quinolone use. Its use during pregnancy and lactation must be carefully evaluated by a physician.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of neurological disorders, as well as those with renal insufficiency. Prolonged exposure to sunlight should be avoided during treatment, as it may increase the risk of adverse skin reactions. Furthermore, medical follow-up is suggested if signs of severe adverse reactions appear.

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children and protect from direct light.
