Indications
Cicloferon Xtrm Spray is indicated for the treatment of skin lesions caused by viral infections, particularly those caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2. This medication works by inhibiting viral replication, which contributes to reducing the duration of lesions and relieving associated symptoms. It is also used in the treatment of varicella-zoster virus infections, as well as recurrent episodes of oral and genital herpes.
Composition
Cicloferon Xtrm Spray contains Aciclovir as an active ingredient at a concentration of 5 g of Aciclovir and 2 g of excipients per 50 mL of product. The excipients have been selected to ensure the stability and efficacy of the active ingredient, as well as proper topical application.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Aciclovir or any of the product's excipients. It should not be used on areas of skin affected by burns, deep wounds, or severe skin infections.
Precautions
It is recommended to use with caution in patients with kidney disease or those receiving treatment that may affect kidney function. In addition, contact of the product with eyes and mucous membranes should be avoided. In case of irritation, discontinue use and consult a doctor.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct light. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
