Indications
Cicloferon Xtrm Skin Tone Cream is indicated for the treatment of viral skin infections, specifically those caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2. This medication is used for the treatment of herpetic lesions on the skin and mucous membranes, providing relief from the pain and itching associated with these lesions. In addition, lidocaine, a local anesthetic, helps reduce discomfort during the healing process. It is important to apply the cream to the affected areas following the doctor's instructions.
Composition
Cicloferon Xtrm Skin Tone Cream contains 5g of acyclovir and 2g of lidocaine per 100g of cream. In addition, its formulation includes excipients that facilitate the application and absorption of the medication into the skin.
Contraindications
This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any of the components of the formula. It should not be used on areas of the skin with severe lesions or in secondary bacterial infections. It is suggested that it not be applied to mucous membranes or open wounds.
Precautions
Caution should be exercised when using Cicloferon Xtrm Skin Tone Cream in patients with a history of allergic reactions to medications. Its use is not recommended in pregnant or breastfeeding women unless strictly necessary and under medical supervision. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
