Indications

Cicloferon 5% Cream is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by acyclovir-sensitive viruses, including cold sores and external genital herpes. Its use is especially effective in treating active skin lesions in patients with herpes infections. The medication works by inhibiting viral replication, which helps reduce the duration of symptoms and accelerate the healing of lesions. It is recommended to start treatment as soon as possible, preferably at the onset of symptoms or within the first 24-48 hours of lesion appearance. This medication can be used in adults and children over 2 years of age, always under the supervision of a healthcare professional.

Composition

Each 100 g of Cicloferon 5% Cream contains: Acyclovir 5 g, excipients q.s.p. 100 g.

Contraindications

It is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acyclovir or any of the excipients in the formula. It should not be applied to skin lesions infected by bacteria or in cases of atopic dermatitis. Likewise, its use should be avoided in people with a history of severe allergic reactions to antiviral medications.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with conditions affecting the immune system. The cream should not be applied to the eyes or mucous membranes. In case of irritation or adverse reactions, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Application to extensive areas of the skin or for prolonged periods without medical supervision is not recommended.

Storage

Store at a temperature between 15°C and 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
