Indications

Cicloferon Cream 5% is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by herpes simplex virus type 1 and type 2. This medication is effective in managing oral and genital herpes, as well as treating herpetic lesions on the skin and mucous membranes. The cream helps accelerate the healing of lesions and reduce the duration of symptoms associated with the herpetic outbreak. It is recommended to apply to affected areas several times a day as directed by a doctor.

Composition

Cicloferon Cream 5% contains Acyclovir as the active ingredient in a concentration of 5%. In addition, it contains excipients that facilitate the application and absorption of the medication into the skin.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Acyclovir or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease or severe dehydration.

Precautions

Special care should be taken when applying it to areas with extensive lesions or in immunocompromised patients. Do not apply to the eyes or mucous membranes, as it may cause irritation. In case of an adverse reaction, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at room temperature, protected from direct light and out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the package.
