Indications

Cicloferon Cream 0.5% is indicated for the treatment of skin infections caused by herpes simplex viruses, as well as for the treatment of herpetic lesions on the skin and mucous membranes. Its use is recommended in patients with primary or recurrent herpes simplex infections, as well as in the prevention of outbreaks in patients with a history of herpetic infections. It can also be used in the treatment of varicella-zoster virus infections, being effective in reducing symptoms associated with these viral conditions.

Composition

Each 100 g of Cicloferon Cream contains 0.5 g of Acyclovir as the active ingredient, in addition to excipients that allow for the correct formulation of the cream and its proper application on the skin.

Contraindications

This medication is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Acyclovir or any other component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in children under 12 years of age without medical supervision. Its application is also not advisable on skin lesions that show signs of bacterial infection or in areas with dermatitis.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised when using Cicloferon Cream in patients with conditions affecting immune function. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If adverse reactions occur, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. It is important not to apply the cream to open wounds or irritated skin.

Storage

Store at room temperature, between 15 and 30 °C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the packaging.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
  4. Orders received after 2:00 PM will be shipped the next day.
