Indications

Cicloferon is indicated for the treatment of virus-caused infections, especially in cases of herpes simplex, herpes zoster, and chickenpox. Additionally, it is used for the prophylaxis of viral infections in immunocompromised patients. Acyclovir works by inhibiting viral DNA replication, which helps reduce the severity and duration of symptoms associated with viral infections. Its administration is especially useful in the early stages of infection.

Composition

Each Cicloferon tablet contains 200 mg of Acyclovir as an active ingredient, in addition to excipients that facilitate its formulation and absorption.

Contraindications

Cicloferon is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to acyclovir or any component of the formula. Its use is not recommended in patients with severe renal insufficiency, as it may increase the risk of toxicity. Caution should also be exercised in patients with pre-existing neurological diseases.

Precautions

It is important to monitor renal function during treatment with Cicloferon, especially in patients with a history of kidney disease. Dosage adjustment is recommended in elderly patients or those with conditions that may affect drug elimination. During treatment, dehydration should be avoided, as it may increase the risk of nephrotoxicity. Likewise, it is suggested to evaluate the patient's health if adverse effects such as allergic reactions or neurological symptoms occur.

Store Cicloferon in its original container, at room temperature, protected from light and moisture. Keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
