Indications

Cialis is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. Its action is based on the inhibition of the phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) enzyme, which facilitates increased blood flow to the penis in response to sexual stimulation. It is recommended to take the medication approximately 30 minutes before sexual activity, and its effect can last up to 36 hours. It is important for the patient to undergo a prior medical evaluation to determine the suitability of the treatment and the appropriate dose, considering their medical history and potential interactions with other medications.

Composition

Each Cialis tablet contains 20 mg of Tadalafil as the active ingredient. Additionally, it includes excipients such as microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, and other inactive components that allow for the formulation of the medication.

Contraindications

Cialis is contraindicated in patients who have hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or any of the excipients in the formulation. It should not be used in patients who are taking nitrates in any form, as this can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Likewise, its use is not recommended in those with a history of myocardial infarction, stroke, or uncontrolled arrhythmias.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with cardiovascular diseases, liver or kidney problems, as well as in those with a history of priapism. Medical monitoring is recommended during treatment to assess the efficacy and tolerability of the medication.

Storage

Store the medication at room temperature, between 15 and 30 degrees Celsius, in a dry place and out of reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiry date indicated on the packaging.
