Indications

Cialis is indicated for the treatment of erectile dysfunction in adult men. This medication works by improving blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which facilitates the achievement and maintenance of an erection. Cialis can also be used for the treatment of symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), which manifest as difficulty initiating urination, weak urinary stream, or frequent urination.

Composition

Each Cialis tablet contains 20 mg of Tadalafil as the active ingredient. It also contains excipients that allow for the formulation of the medication, the composition of which may vary depending on the manufacturer.

Contraindications

Cialis is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Tadalafil or to any of the product's excipients. It should not be administered to individuals who are using nitrates (medications for chest pain), as this can lead to a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Likewise, its use is not recommended in patients with severe cardiovascular conditions or who have recently suffered a myocardial infarction.

Precautions

Caution should be exercised in patients with a history of cardiovascular disease, severe liver or kidney disease. A medical examination is recommended before starting treatment with Cialis, especially if the patient is taking other medications that could interact with Tadalafil. Patients are advised not to exceed the recommended dose and to avoid excessive alcohol consumption while using this medication.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place, at a temperature not exceeding 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use the medication after the expiry date indicated on the package.
