Indications

Choriomon 5000 is a medication indicated for the treatment of various conditions related to the reproductive system. It is primarily used in the treatment of infertility in women by stimulating ovulation and promoting follicular maturation. It is also used in men for the treatment of hypogonadism, as it helps increase testosterone and sperm production. Additionally, it can be used in cases of gynecomastia and in the treatment of certain types of testicular tumors. Choriomon is administered intramuscularly or subcutaneously, and the dosage and frequency of treatment should be determined according to the patient's condition and response to treatment.

Composition

Each ampoule of Choriomon 5000 contains Human Chorionic Gonadotropin as the active ingredient, along with excipients necessary for its formulation.

Contraindications

Choriomon is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to human chorionic gonadotropin or to any of the excipients of the product. It should not be used in cases of pituitary or testicular tumors, as well as during pregnancy and lactation, unless otherwise indicated by a doctor. It is also contraindicated in patients with untreated hormonal diseases.

Precautions

Caution is recommended in patients with a history of thrombosis, heart disease, or kidney disease. Constant medical monitoring is necessary during treatment, especially in women being treated for infertility, due to the risk of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. The doctor should be informed about any medications the patient is taking, as well as any pre-existing medical conditions.

Storage

Choriomon should be stored at controlled temperature, between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. Protect from light and keep out of reach of children.

  1. Free home delivery by local branches on orders over $1000. Otherwise, a $50 fee will be added in the cities of Querétaro and La Paz, BCS, and $150 in San José del Cabo and Cabo San Lucas, BCS.
  2. FREE national shipping via ground on orders over $1,500.00. Otherwise, a fee of $170.00 MXN (One hundred seventy Mexican pesos) will be added for a standard package with dimensions up to 20cm x 20cm x 20cm and 1kg in weight, and $290.00 MXN (Two hundred ninety Mexican pesos) for packages exceeding the aforementioned dimensions or weight.
  3. In case of oversized items, the corresponding fee will apply according to the parcel service.
